I just took down all my notecards from my board where I was keeping track of all the dependencies for my project at work. They are going to Chicago with me on Monday and boy does that planning board look lonely now!

I have a lot of friends that think that traveling for work is very glamorous, so I thought I would post some pictures. The first is what I spent 24 hours (or more) doing in Chicago a few weeks ago, sitting around a conference table. At least the people I work with are smart and I enjoy them. The highlight of the trip was getting my own keycard and bathroom key so I don't have to track down the visitor one every time nature calls. I did get to stay at the Hilton Palmer House though and that hotel is beautiful. I took a picture of their carpet because I enjoy the idea of casino/hotel carpet pictures now after my post a few weeks ago and look at that lobby! We also ate at Primebar which is always good, been to both the Scottsdale and the Chicago locations, and Nacional 27 a place that was new to me and very tasty. Try the sangria!
