This picture doesn't do this plate justice. Sometimes I take it out of the cabinet just to look at it. The red in the bottom is rich and lovely.

I started pottery class again this month after taking two years off. For inspiration after class I came home and rounded some of my old pieces up and took a look. I don't think a single one is centered, most of them only look good from one side, and you can even see where one of them stuck to the kiln, but it doesn't matter. I love them!
Class tonight was fun, messy, and reminded me how impatient I am when it comes to learning new things.
