  A few minutes ago I posted this picture of Mack on Facebook because he looks throughly bored with watching me work, yet insists on being as close as possible to my desk when I work from home.
  
  It reminded me of this picture that I sent Mike when I was in Colorado for Mother's Day of a notebook I found at Staples.
  
  I finally know what Mack did before I found him at the shelter, he was a kitty model. He's put on a little weight since retiring, but he is still very handsome. Everyone always says he is very photogenic when you can actually get him to look at the camera. I asked him to give me his Blue Steel and he still has it!
  
  Mike told me the thing he likes the most about Mack is that he has stayed so down to earth.

  Mack has recently learned how to cuddle and nap with Lola and me. Up until now, he's been affectionate, but preferred if you sat on the floor to pet him and liked sleeping at the foot of the bed. Now, he's pretty comfortable sitting on the couch with me at least for a while. He's also learned to smell flowers without using his teeth. Or at least he has me convinced of this right now... as soon as I leave the room that vase will get shattered.
