It's my birthday!

Today was my birthday. I went to Colorado over the weekend to celebrate and had a blast! Today I was back in SLC and did my favorite thing which is doing whatever I want. A little shopping, a little pottery, a nap, and drinks with some good friends. I'm pretty lucky!
Today was also Lola's birthday because she was my birthday present 2 years ago. She spent the morning watching birds.... upside down. She is the best birthday present I've ever gotten.

Yes, I just said this. No, I will not remove my comment- it is funny.
It should be noted that I share my house with two Utah Humane Society Adoptees. I would say that I adopted them, but I think they own me. You should adopt ZIM if you are looking for a cat because if you do, he is possibly replaceable with a cloned cat that looks just like him if something were to (heaven forbid) ever happen.

Cats need privacy... Not mine!

I know my cats well, but this concept makes me laugh... Privacy? I know them well enough to know that their needs actually are comprised of the following:
Food
Water
Stubborness
Sleep
Soft places to sleep
Weird places to sleep that aren't comfortable
Bags to hide in, sleep in, sit in, or look in
Anything you don't want them to touch or anyplace you don't want the to be
Playing with feathers, fake mice, or the bathtub drain
Shiny things
The laser pointer
Tuna
Cuddling, but only when they want to
Privacy isn't the top of the list when I think of things my cats require or the things they are good at!
